2023 & 2024: The Early Years.
Going Pro
The Clockinator Pro project as we know it today began as an evolution of the original Clockinator for iPhone and iPad. As we went from digital to analog-style clock faces, a few fan-favorite faces made the jump as well. These faces had their artwork reoworked to match our new pendulum format, but still kept the same charm and flavor that makes the original Clockinator so special.
New Parts, New Possibilities
With this new display format, our artists were free to unleash all of their wildest ideas onto their clock faces. The hands, bobs, numbers, and all the other parts that make analog clocks so timeless were ready for tinkering. These new layers of creativity and personality were quickly put to good use by the artists, whether it was turning a metronome-style pendulum into a certain signal in the sky, stretching and molding fairy tale dragons into recognizable arabic numerals, or turning each number into a valuable crew member from your favorite 60’s TV show, the possibilities became that much bigger.
Our features and art catalogue have both grown expansively since then, but these early experiments on our legacy clock faces and new design features were vital to establishing Clockinator Pro’s DNA and the new clock faces to come.
